Export & Handoff
Make handoff part of the workflow: correct format, correct quality, reusable files.
Pick an export format
- Editable files: best for collaboration and future edits (copy, price, images).
- Images (PNG/JPG): best for publishing, ads, social posts, and platform uploads.
- PDF: best for final presentation and archiving; more consistent across devices.
Size & quality tips
- Export at channel-recommended sizes to reduce platform compression artifacts.
- Avoid overly thin or tiny text; it must remain readable on mobile and projectors.
- Use high-resolution source images, especially for the product and key details.
Handoff checklist
Split handoff into “final outputs + asset pack” so future iterations are painless:
- Final outputs: channel-named deliverables (deck/PDF/images)
- Asset pack: logo, icons, illustrations, original images, fonts, and color notes
- Release notes: what changed, compliance notes, and supported variants
Common pitfalls
- Delivering images only—future edits require redesigning the whole piece.
- Font mismatch across devices causes layout breaks.
- Key elements too close to edges get clipped by platforms.
- Upscaling low-res assets results in blurry details.
